INDIA: INCREDIBLE RAJASTHAN
#Wanderlust
Travelling has been most common hobby and hash tag “wanderlust” one of the most common hashtag in social media but for some people like me travelling works as a solution of many problems or dissatisfaction. Whenever I feel depressed then rather then gossiping and having infobesity ( unwanted information at a time, info + obesity) I just prefer to have my own company at some unknown peaceful place. Even when I want to spend time with someone I really love and care for we just get lost in some far world. Many of you are also doing this thing.
Without wasting time and internet lets directly start a story, actually this one is different from others. This is story of my experience, madness and travel in India.
One summer I had nothing to do and I was bored so decided to travel with family, somewhere unknown and far from home. Booked tickets, contacted friends, packed stuffs and went.
On extremely hot climate we started, we had to go to Rajkot to board that tour bus. And after that journey began.
First stop was Jaisalmer, the golden city of Rajasthan. Small and near to border but full of palace, fort and haveli. After sightseeing and interacting with localities and guides we proceeded for Patwa Haveli a gorgeous crafted palace and then towards Sam desert.
Rajasthan is full of royalty, valor of Rajput, adventure and food.
Bravery and power of Rajput rulers are clearly mentioned through fort and palace.
My memorable moment was when I met few foreigner tourists from France and Spain. i talked to them and them we became friends soon. a remembered a guy named Michel who wasn't able to pronounce my name properly and after few minutes he invited me to Paris and we clicked picture together and he was awestruck by seeing people and architecture of Rajasthan
India’s 2nd biggest desert and awesome place for camel ride. After camel riding and off roading we went back to our hotel.
Our next destination was Ramdevra, a holy place and an amazing town. A street full of red flag and small temples. its actually a birth place of one Indian saint Ramdev pir.
Next we went to Bikaner, a royal city with its glorious history and awesome architecture.
My most memorable moments were all those interactions with local people like rickshaw driver, shopkeeper, waiter, policemen, soldier, foreign tourists and many other people. We bought many stuffs. And food…was simply yum!! gulab jamun, daal baati or Bikaneri kachori……
This is the beauty of getting lost. Getting lost is the best way to find yourself. So go out, put your phone down, throw your TV and get lost. And all my foreigner brother and sisters are heartily invited to India and especially to Rajasthan.
